Amazing playground! Lots of green space to run around, super close to the beach, tons of parking, restrooms, fenced in area for the little ones, very engaging playground overall with several different types of swings (which my kids loved). Plenty of seating- there are picnic tables, a shelter and benches all around. We came in the fall- the leaves were beautiful 🍁

Very cool park. Love that they keep the wood style but with no maintenance composite! So many playgrounds are doing away with the wood and making them less fun, so happy they built this! Would love to see more playgrounds like this! Tot and big kid area. Classic metal slide is still there and was a fave too.

It seems safer but seems like there is less playground for older kids to play on on is for ages up to 5 the one in the open is for older kids I really like the mats they laid down They don't want dogs in the park and they have bags to clean up after them

South Haven South Beach was amazing! This is where I'd go anytime I want to play in the freshwater surf, the waves here are phenomenal and the beach sand is soft like powder. Absolutely loved the day here...plenty of beach to walk as well as a boardwalk leading out to the light house. Kids and myself just had a ball. We will visit again.

No longer the wooden pirate ship, but it's still a fantastic playground and park in a beautiful setting. Green space to run around, picnic tables, baseball area, large playground structure for ages 5-12, small fenced in area for ages 2-5, and swings. Limited street parking (when busy) and bathrooms. Fun for all ages.

Public restroom on site. Picnic tables a plenty. A huge play area for little ones. It is also directly across the street from the blue stairs that lead right down to the beach. We came on a day trip with our 7 year old and he had a fantastic time. We stopped at Sherman's Dairy Bar on the way back home to top off a great summer beach day. Fantastic playground.

What a beautiful park! Our kids loved playing here for more than an hour this morning as we started our day. Plenty of room on the play structure, several sets of swings, and a big open green space. The park is tucked in a very attractive neighborhood with a view overlooking Lake Michigan. Parking here was plentiful around 9am, but was difficult to find when we returned from downtown around 1pm.

This is a beautiful neighborhood playground in a wonderful location near the coast in South Haven. The play strutures are well maintained, colorful, and go beyond the standard "swings and slides" of most playgrounds, and our kids had a blast climbing on the structures and exploring the many elements here. There is a separate area designed for slightly younger kids, too, but it seemed like most kids were just exploring both sections. The park was quite busy since the weather was really nice, but it didn't seem overcrowded. Parking is available on the street in the blocks around the playground.
